Welcome to the web site of Victoria PiMakers And Others. We are a group of people who use the Raspberry Pi, the Arduino, and Other micro boards running embedded Linux systems to build projects and learn Linux and computer programming. We are based in Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, Canada.
Interested in going beyond laptops and desktop computers into the exciting world of computer programming, electronics, prototyping, robotics, and embedded Linux systems? Or do you just want to use your Raspberry Pi or Arduino to learn programming, or build a robot, or put together a weather station for your school or home? We are a group of people of all ages, abilities, and skills who want to learn how to make things. We have twice monthly Victoria PiMakers meetings, once monthly linux and network meetings, twice yearly, Raspberry Pi Intro programs and lots of great discussions and even some social fun.
