You need to bring a laptop:

A windows laptop or
Linux laptop or
chromebook with linux enabled.

We loan you

A Raspberry Pi Pico with LED and temperature sensor
A micro USB cable

You build a digital thermometer that can

Report the highest and lowest temperatures of the last 24 hours
Signal when a room is dangerously overheated

We have been discussing different aspects of the Network, however, we should also give consideration to Network Security. In fact, this should be part of your thinking when designing any network, not an after thought.

In this presentation/lab, we'll give a brief Introduction to Network Security and some basic pen testing tools.

Bring a laptop or similar device with Wireshark installed and we'll explore live Pen Testing in our "lab" network.

Afterword, we will go out for a beer/coffee.
