Stuff includes:
– changing the BIOS battery,
– re-pasting the CPU,
– trying to add a mini-pci card
— getting BIOS locked out when card is inserted (unauthorized!)
— updating BIOS with trick to unblock the unauthorized card.
– running the BIOS updater,
– fixed, noisily the problem
