Hi, just to keep you up to date on where we are on an ad in MagPi, this
is the correspondence from the editor, and the material I sent her.   Don

Hi Don,

Thank you for this. I've alerted Rob who looks after our Events pages in
the magazine. Hope the event goes well.

Best wishes,
Lucy

    Hi Lucy

Our group, Victoria Pi Makers and Others, has moved to virtual
meetings, and we wondered if you would be interested in posting this
as an event open to others. We “meet” twice a month, on the second
and fourth Saturdays, and cover divergent topics, including Pi,
Arduino, Esp8266. Meeting time are typically 10am Pacific time.
Because of the background of our members a lot of topics deal with
communications, internet, and security. We advertise through Meetup
(Victoria Pi Makers and Others), and presentations are available and
archived on our web site (https://vicpimakers.ca/). At the moment we
are running a limited jitsi server for our meetings
(https://meet.vinnythegeek.ca/vicpimakers ), and it is configured to
accept Canadian sources only, but exceptions can be made by
    contacting jitsi-request at vicpimakers.ca
<mailto:jitsi-request at vicpimakers.ca> to allow others to join a
    meeting.

If you think this would be something of interest for MagPi magazine,
please let me know how you would like the information formatted for
you, and what sort of time line is required.

    Sincerely Don Woods
