[VicPiMakers SG] SteeringGroup Digest, Vol 14, Issue 1

I've always had to connect my laptop via USB to a "stack" of connectors that are usually in place for us. But things change - before the "big upheaval" there was a plan to get HDMI feed through to the projector, don't know if that's been done. I've just pinged Rachael an email for the current situation and to have any necessary i/f in place for us for Sat.

Mark, that would work only if the QCollege iMac is on and connected to their network. Without support staff, there’s no guarantee of that. As for the HDMI-DVI converter, I have one of those and I think it’s bi-directional, but there is no DVI output on a Macbook — isn’t that right? My advice is to buy the dongle, it’s a useful thing to have if you have a Macbook and IMHO part of the the price of having a Macbook.Stuart

Well, I can always just use the Q-college connected system
and retrieve the presentation from either the Vicpimakers
website, or my own.

I found an HDMI to DVI convertor, but don't know if that is
helpful here.

Thanks everyone!
