Hi All,
Thanks to those who took time out of their day to help guide VicPiMakers
through the uncertainty of our meeting place, Q-College, as they move to
their new campus.
Here's my notes from the meeting:
Agenda
Meeting Location for Nov/Dec 2022 (Part 1) (All)
Rachael has left Q-College - now Manager at Accell or Excel
Career College
Ask Rachael about meeting room opportunities - 1207 Douglas

And Q-College is moving to a new campus, Michelle Meadows
Waiting to hear back from Ramon
Can we return to Camosun? Deid talked to Michael, probably not,
possibly the 2023
Meeting location for 2023 (Part 2) (All)
Alternatives - Deid, or Don's houses
Use Quality Foods for the rest of 2022
Island Savings, weekdays only
Fall Classes? (Deid)
Do we push them to Spring 2023 when our meeting location is
more firm? not this fall
Do courses with ESPs or Pi Picos IoT - 2 one week courses (each
week is tues or thurs)
Start in February
Deid's wants help with the design of the course - "IoT,
under the hood"
Build concepts - Outcomes are introductory
Requires students to bring a laptop
Helpers - Mark & Craig
Start marketing now - give something to Memory Express (George)
Give ESP or Picos to class attendees - Charge for class e.g $10
Use Wifi on Phone to control the Microprocessor
Input Sensors - PIR, Temperature, Light, Mag-sensors
Output - LEDs, Relays, etc
