[VicPiMakers SG] Testing Virtual Meetings

Hi All,

I hope everyone is well.

There has been discussion around having virtual meetings. Mark and I have
been testing a free service (running on open source software) called Jitsi.
It works pretty well with 2 people, but it would be good to do a larger
test.

The advantages of Jitsi are:

   - No log in is required
   - Works on IPv6 & IPv4
   - No plug-ins required
   - Dial-in number available (NOT toll-free)
   - Runs on Open Source Software (we could install our own server if we
   wanted)

Unfortunately, Chrome/Chromium are the officially supported browsers. Mark
has been using Firefox, which seems to mostly work.

An invitation looks like:

You are invited to join a meeting.
Join the meeting:
https://meet.jit.si/vicpitest

Just click on the URL (above) and it should take you to the meeting.

Would people be interested in giving it a try, say at *3pm today*? I'd like
to see how it does with more people, so if you can only stay for a few
minutes, that would help. Or if there is a better time, please suggest it.

Hope to see you soon (virtually),

Craig...
