Hi Stuart,
Wow, haven't run NetAtalk in decades. The Mac will understand NFS, if
you want to define "shares" on your Linux Laptop to share via NFS. This
is what I do at my house.
The other option is to run sshfs, then you can log into anything that
has a ssh server. Works quite well, I even use it to mount my server in
France (over IPv6, of course).
