Following our discussion @ Monkey Tree, I’m posing the following questions for discussion on this list:
1) What goals should we set for VicPiMakers for this year (2018)?
a) General
b) your personal goals
2) What do we need to initiate or do to further these goals?
I particularly like Mark’s suggestion that we organise our programs, reflected in the Web site, along Tracks, such as for example Learning, Making, Communicating, Developing etc. or other suitable ones.
This leads to the last question as to:
3) If we set up Tacks, what should they be?
2017 was another great year for VicPiMakers. Let’s make 2018 even better!

Agenda
* Update on changes at Q-College
* Rachael is now the Admin
* Discuss search/need for alternative meeting locations
* Needs to be affordable, we make about $45-$60 per meeting
* SG, please continue to make suggestions
* Discuss VicPiMakers.ca move to Cody's Server farm costs/benefits (Cody) - postponed
* Stuart has the ability to sublt off of his site
* Wait for Cody to make her presentation to SG
* Update on Linux SIG meetings (Craig/Heidi/Gordo)
* Going well, Island Savings is a better location for presentations
* Upcoming Presentations (Deid/Craig)
* Intro to Pi & Others - still don't have a room - need to reschedule? 
* Ask Q-College to hold Tues evening meetings (Craig)
* 1/23 (Craig) 2/20 (Simon)
* CIRA's $1 M Improve Web Grant - only available to non-profits, charities, researchers
* SG attendiees still not interested in incorporation
* Goals discussion of VicPiMakers SG List (Stuart)
     * What are the goals for 2018
* There are advantages of not-for-profit status
* Have tracks - Dev, Beginners, Server, Python Language
* Add "tracks" to website
* Treasure's report (Craig) - 323 members on meetup
* Adjourned 1927
