[VicPiMakers Projects] Using LLMs when programming

At Saturday's Linux SIG, I asked who would be interested in one or more
sessions on using LLMs to help with programming. I was asked to put the
question to the projects email list.
As an example, I have been slow to convert my IOT wifi devices to
accommodate changing SSIDs and IP networks. So I asked Claude.ai for a
script to switch an ESP32 from a wifi access point mode to a station access
mode and got working code quickly. I loaded it on an ESP32 Node MCU, and
it worked. I then broke the code by changing some of it. That will lead
me to learn more about IP gateways and ESP32 EEProm storage.
My point is that LLMs expanded my need to learn the principles of what it
coded.
I was very resistant, but now think using LLMs is inevitable and should be
explored in the VicPiMakers meetings. What do you think?
