[VicPiMakers Projects] The changing landscape

The writing of the attached article was inspired by recent unsettling
events and influenced by living in what I often describe as “The Goldilocks
Zone”—a period when many Canadians, including my immigrant family, saw a
clear path to opportunity and prosperity for all.


However, over the years, that path has gradually faded, or in the eyes of
many, disappeared entirely. The wealth has shifted, becoming concentrated
in the hands of fewer individuals, and now we find ourselves caught in a
whirlwind of rapid change, driven by uncertainty and chaos.

The article touches on history, starting with the concept of "machine
learning," followed by the invention of the integrated circuit, the
creation of the first microcontroller IC, and concluding with today's
advanced AI computing chips—topics that are highly relevant to Pimakers.

The draft article, as it stands, is in limbo waiting for me to decide
whether to make it public or not. In the meantime I’ve decided to share it
with family and friends.
