[VicPiMakers Projects] Wanted: Old unneeded iOS device for hacking

Happy New Year's Eve!

My son is interested in hacking a Logitech speaker which can only be 
configured by an older (pre-2012) iOS device, like an old iPod touch. It 
has a connector that looks like this:

Does anyone have one laying around collecting dust?
