<p>We had a short discussion about this topic after today's meeting.
But for those who weren't there, Meetup has increased their fees
dramatically (was $110 USD/6 months, now is $200 USD/6 months). I
just got the charge on my credit card for Sept 2024->March
2025.</p>
<p>In searching around, I found this notice of the increase:</p>

<p>We have time before we get another bill from Meetup (March 2025).
I suggest we think of another platform where people are looking
for meetings (which is what Meetup is good for) and discuss moving
to another platform at the next Steering Group meeting (in Nov?).</p>
<p>In the mean time, we can use this thread to discuss.</p>
