<p>A few meetings back I mentioned that the DBeaver
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://dbeaver.io/">https://dbeaver.io/</a>) database client can connect to SQLite
databases.  Well, I recently stumbled upon LibreDB
      (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://libredb.org/">https://libredb.org/</a>), an open-source, self-hosted client, that
appeals to me more for home use.  (You can also run it locally
      with Node.)</p>
<p>They feature deploying it in a Docker container but I installed
it into an Incus container instead.  I was then able to use the
GUI to create and connect to an SQLite database file, which is
saved to a mounted storage volume.  (Think of the storage volume
as a second hard drive or partition that doesn't get wiped when
      you reinstall.)</p>
<p>The installation and configuration were quite straight forward,
except for the storage volume.  That required stopping the
service; creating and mounting the storage volume; changing the
systemd unit file; copying any existing files over; and,
      restarting the service.</p>
<p>I'm still test driving it and haven't yet connected it to a
      MariaDB or PostgreSQL database.  </p>
